AI usage ​

Use the AI subtab in Data & API to see what AI Gateway has run and what it cost.

  1. Go to the Data & API tab, then open the AI subtab.
  2. Open AI Usage.

AI Requests lists recent AI calls, including the model, cost, and the workflow that ran them.

AI Budget shows how much of the free $1 credit is spent, and the amount billed this month for the workspace. Use Manage in workspace settings to change auto-charge or the monthly cap.

Your workspace has a free $1 credit. After that, usage is billed at cost for projects on a paid plan with auto-charge enabled. You can set a monthly cap in workspace billing.

This only applies when the action runs through WeWeb Cloud. If the action uses your own API key, WeWeb does not bill that call.

Common pitfalls ​

AI is paused after the free $1 credit ​

If the workspace free $1 credit is used up:

  • On a free plan, upgrade the project or add your own API key.
  • If auto-charge is off, turn it back on in workspace billing, or add your own API key.
  • If the monthly cap is reached, raise the cap in workspace billing (it resets on the 1st of the month), or add your own API key.

These are account settings, not a broken workflow. You do not need to rewrite the action.
