The Projects Tab

The projects tab is the first one you'll see when opening a workspace.

It's composed of all the apps (aka projects) that are part of this specific workspace.

Here, you can:

  1. Search for a specific project by its name
  2. Create a new project with the New project button
  3. Open a project in the editor with the Open Editor button, which appears when you hover its card
  4. Rename or duplicate a project from the three dots on its card
  5. Click on a project's card to open its settings

The projects tab inside a WeWeb workspace

You only see the projects you can open. When you create a project, you get access to it. Renaming a project needs the Settings permission on that project, and duplicating it needs its Duplicate permission. Learn more about access to projects →

If your workspace plan includes single sign-on, WeWeb asks Who can use the published app? when you create a project. Otherwise, every project is public.

  • Public: Anyone with the link can use it.
  • Internal: Only the people you choose, signing in with their company account. This needs single sign-on to be connected, and can't be changed later. Learn more about internal apps →
